Charline Myers Walters, 86, was reunited with her family in their heavenly home on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013.

Born and raised in Bogalusa, she was a longtime member of E.S.M. United Methodist Church, and also enjoyed many years of membership in the Jessamine Chapter of the Eastern Star. For the past several years, she resided in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Her beloved husband, Lonnie T. Walters, and her son, Donald Roy Walters, preceded her in death. Her second husband, Horace Alexius, also preceded her in death.

She will be remembered lovingly by her daughter, Fay W. Gardner; her granddaughters, Laura R. Gardner and Rachel Gardner (Jonathan) Simmons; and her great-grandchildren, Bailey and Mason Simmons.

A private family service was held Tuesday, Nov. 26 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa. Interment followed in Ponemah Cemetery.
