Michael Knight, 39, a resident of Bogalusa, born Jan. 7, 1974, passed away Monday, Nov. 18 2013, at the Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe.

He is survived by his wife, Julia H. Knight; one daughter, Ansley Marie Knight; sons, Colby Wade Knight, Coleman Kade Knight, Michael “Mikey” Kevin Knight II and David Ernest “D.J.” McClendon Jr.; his parents, Michael Paul Knight and Rebecca Ann Hathorne Knight; and one sister, Kelly Ann Lee.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. and continued Thursday in the funeral home chapel from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral services at 11 a.m., with the Rev. David Easterling officiating. Interment followed at Ponemah Cemetery.
