Jewel J. Johnson, 81, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. He was a resident of Bogalusa.

He is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Halsey of Bossier City.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Mae Johnson; parents, Robie and Bertha Johnson; brother Richard M. Johnson; and sisters, Jeneva Felts, and Josephine Malcom.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 23 in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time for services at noon, with the Rev. Pete Williams officiating. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery.
