Catherine Noreen Galloway, 90, passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, where she was a resident.

She was a charter member of Memorial Baptist Church, where she was active in WMU. She taught Sunday school and VBS. She was also member of the choir, and music was a large part of her life.

She is survived by one son, Michael V. Galloway of Bogalusa; two daughters, Brenda Westmoreland of Franklinton and Sharon Ringo of Lafayette; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Galloway; parents, Lee and Edna Winstead; and brother, Rudolph Winstead.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m., with Rev. Field Thigpen and Rev. Larry Mizell officiating. Burial will be in Galloway Cemetery.
