Sue Magee Tullos Pierce, 85, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center.

Born in Bogalusa on March 14, 1928, her career with Bogalusa City Schools, where she served as a teacher, principal, supervisor and superintendent, spanned more than 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bogalusa.

She is survived by two sons, Randy (Shirley) Magee and John (Cathy) Magee, both of Bogalusa; one sister, Carolyn Boyd of Ponchatoula; four grandchildren, Tana Johnston, Terri Trusley, Jason Magee and Sunny Self; and six great-grandchildren, Kara, Le’Anna, MaKenna, Morgan, Presley and John Eric.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Magee, Denver Tullos and Robert Pierce; her parents, Linder Windham and Effie Day Windham; a brother, Glynn Windham; and two sisters, Mary Francis Windham and Lena Smith.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 15 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Billy Trusley and the Rev. Greg Whaley officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
