Amanda Edwards of Bogalusa and Scott Payne of Marrero are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Marvin and Delores Creel of Bogalusa, and a 2002 graduate of Bogalusa High School.

The prospective groom, the son of the late Jacka nd Wanda Payne, is employed as an electrician by Versatech.

The marriage vows will be exchanged in a 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the couple’s home in Bogalusa.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
