On Nov. 11 Bogalusa High School will hold a Veterans Day Program to recognize veterans and educate the student body on the significance of Veterans Day. Bogalusa High School students and staff invite and encourage all community veterans and community leaders to attend the event.

The Veterans Day Program will begin at 2 p.m. in the Bogalusa High School Auditorium. Immediately following the program, all community veterans and community leaders are invited to the Army JROTC area for refreshments.

The Veterans Day Program will consist of presenting and posting of the national colors and the playing of the national anthem by the Bogalusa High School band, followed by a welcome address and significance of Veterans Day, recognition of veterans and taps. The guest speaker will be Mayor Charles E. Mizell.
