DAWSON

Abner R. Dawson, 56, a resident of Franklinton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at Riverside Medical Center. He was born on Feb. 5, 1957.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Vivian Dillon of Franklinton; his stepfather, Bobby Dillon of Franklinton; one son, Donald “PeeWee” Dawson of Franklinton; two brothers, James Burton of Rochester, N.Y., and Bob Dillon III of Franklinton; six sisters, Tatiana Hart, Kathy Allen, Arethla Gordon, Jackie Davis and Natache Dillon, all of Rochester, and Theresa Burton of Franklinton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mazrow Dawson, and a brother, Donald “PeeWee” Dawson.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 1 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton from 2-7 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, with interment to follow in Moriah Cemetery in Clifton. Please sign the guestbook at www.crainandsons.com.
