LAVINGHOUSE

Randal L. Lavinghouse, 65, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He loved to hunt and fish and was an avid LSU fan.

He was survived by his wife, Linda Bryant Lavinghouse of Bogalusa; two sons, Lane and Todd Lavinghouse of Bogalusa; a stepson, Butch Phillips of Central; a stepdaughter, Angela Phillips of Bogalusa; a sister, Linda Cheek of Baton Rouge, and a half-sister, Dianna Strahan of Bogalusa; and nine grandchildren.

His first wife, Sharon O’Brien, and his parents, Charles and Vergia Lavinghouse, preceded him in death.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m., and will continue on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time for services at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Greg Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Ponemah Cemetery.
