WATSON

Brenda Kay Watson, 51, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. She was born in Leakesville, Miss., on Oct. 27, 1961.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Meadows Sylvester and a brother, James Robertson.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Watson of Bogalusa; three daughters, Linda Pounds of Tylertown, Miss., Millicent Rogers of Leakesville and Cristy Harveston of Bogalusa; two sons, Terence Harveston of Covington and Jonathan Watson of Bogalusa; eight grandchildren; her father, Thomas Sylvester of Leakesville; three sisters, Charlene Havard of Lucedale, Miss., Nancy Brewer of Bogalusa and Paula South of Mobile, Ala.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m., continuing on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Thomas Cemetery.
