SHAW

David C. Shaw, 76, a resident of Bush, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Mandeville.

Born in New Orleans on Sept. 23, 1937, he was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, and director of Washington-St. Tammany Electric Co-op for 26 years. He was a member of the Sun Masonic Lodge 336 for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Rayburn Shaw of Bush; one daughter, Delene Shaw (Keith) Casanova of Walker; two sons, Clell Damon (Tiffany) Shaw of Bush and Clint (Benita) Shaw of Sun; one sister, Carole Ann (Larry) Carver of Waveland, Miss.; and four grandchildren, Jeremy (Megan) Casanova, Justin Casanova, Austin Shaw and Devin Shaw.

Visitation was held Saturday, Oct. 12 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m., with Masonic services conducted at 7 p.m.

Visitation will continue on Sunday from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Mike Eden officiating. Interment will follow at Grantham Cemetery in Bush.
