Anna Bell Brumfield Crain, 77, a resident of Pine born July 6, 1936, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 at 8:20 a.m. at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

She was a member of Crain’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Charles Ray Crain.

She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Faith and Joseph Keifer III of Franklinton; three grandchildren, Jamie Crain, Brooke Crain and Nicholas Keifer; and three sisters, Charlotte Taylor of Franklinton and Perry O’Bryant and Lucille Netto, both of Mississippi.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Smith and Ruby McCain Brumfield, and a son, Jeffrey Aldon Crain.

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. at Crain Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Eld. Willie J. Passman and Rev. Eric Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the War Crain Cemetery.
