PASSMAN

Shanda Wheat Passman, 49, passed away at 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at her home in Franklinton.

Born Sept. 4, 1964, she enjoyed fishing, but especially loved shopping. She was a good friend who often helped other people. Shanda loved her family, but she was their hero, after proving her strength and toughness during her four-year battle with cancer

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Dale Passman of Franklinton; a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany P. Magee and Dwayne Magee of Franklinton; a son, Coty James Passman of Slidell; five grandchildren, Austin Passman, Allie Passman, Abigael Magee, Timothy Magee and John Luke Magee; her mother, Doris Pounds Ard Wheat of Plainview; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Renea and Steve Howard of Poplarville, Miss. and Angela Wheat of Bogalusa; her stepfather, Oneal Ard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her father, Joey Wheat, and her grandparents, Edwin and Maud Pounds, preceded her in death.

Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 3 at Crain Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m., and continued on Friday from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Eld. Richard Magee and Eld. Mason Miley officiating. Burial followed in the Magee Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Coty Passman, Dwayne Magee, Reggie Williams, Randy Brumfield, Jason Callioutte, David Galloway and Mike Thomas.
