RITCHIE

Janet Brumfield Ritchie, 58, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at her residence in Bogalusa.

Born Nov. 19, 1955, Janet was a social worker for kidney dialysis and a graduate of Bogalusa High School.

She is survived by two sons, Jaye Lang and Sean Lang, both of Tylertown, Miss.; a daughter, Casey Lang of Tylertown; her mother, Myrtle Duncan; a granddaughter, Ariel Mitchell; and a half-sister, Pam (Marty) Adams, all of the Stateline Community; and numerous other family members and friends.              

Her husband, Timothy Ritchie; her father, Bobby Brumfield; and a daughter, Kristina Danielle Lang, preceded her in death.                                                  

Visitation was held Thursday, Sept. 26 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home, from 5-10 p.m., and resumed on Friday from 8 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Richard Magee officiating. Interment followed in the Gerald Cemetery in Pine.
