HOLTS

God sent his angel to bring Ruthie Lee Holts home at the age of 68 on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton.

She was born in Clifton on Oct. 24, 1944, to Jewel Conerly and Alean Wilson Conerly. She was baptized at an early age at Hays Creek Church. She worked as a CNA for many years at Forest Manor and Dixon Nursing homes.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of more than 40 years, Roosevelt (Jr.) Holts; two daughters, Lynette Conerly Wilson of Franklinton and Willene Hogans of Milwaukee; three sons, Aaron (Carmen) Conerly and Kenny Wayne Abron, both of Franklinton, and Luscious Holts of California; two brothers, Anderson (Thannie) Conerly of Franklinton and Lynell Conerly of New Orleans; three sisters, Lavon Brumfield of Franklinton, Elaine Wilson of Greensburg and Mae Dean (Martin) Dumas of New Orleans; her grandchildren, Aaron (Bam) Gatlin, Karry Conerly, Devonte Conerly, Tabarra Conerly Causey (Jamie) of Franklinton, Kenisha Conerly of Ohio and Jeffrey Baker of Mem-phis, Tenn.; three great-grandchildren; one aunt, Bernistine Jenkins; her best friend, Betty Willis; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alean Wilson Conerly; her father, Jewel Conerly; five brothers, Milvell Wilson, Alton “Frito” Conerly, John Henry Conerly, Harry Conerly and Vester Conerly; and three sisters, Weaver Conerly, Hilda Conerly and Willean Johnson.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 6 at Sweet Rest Baptist Church, 1811 Desmare St. in Franklinton, from 3-6 p.m. for friends, and from 6-8 p.m. for family.

Funeral services will be on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Sweet Rest Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mallory Callahan officiating. Interment will follow at P.B. Pinchbeck Magee Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to meet at Corey’s One Stop for fellowship.
