Johnny J. Seal, 66, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at his home in Pine.

Born Oct. 18, 1946, he was a retired Ford Motor Company mechanic and a longtime member of Pine First Baptist Church. Johnny loved constructing woodworking projects and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sybil Luper Feazell Seal of Pine; five children and spouses, John Seal of Alexandria, Judy Seal (Joey) Saraceno of Bogalusa, Inez Feazell (Laney) Barber of Thomas, Larry Feazell and Tara Crain of Pine and Becky Feazell (Billy) Jordan of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; 11 grandchildren, Jonathan Seal, Jacob Seal, Joseph Saraceno, Zachary Saraceno and Alyson Saraceno, all of Bogalusa, Cody and Chelsie Feazell of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Lance Barber and Lane Barber, both of Thomas, and Brianna Jordan, Nicholas Jordan and Mia Jordan, all of Tuscaloosa; one great-grandchild, Brynna Kate Feazell of Lawrenceburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Ann Seal of Tupelo, Miss., Bernice Lavelle Seal and Nancy Seal of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Thomas J. Seal and Audrey Seal and Walton and Sanduel Seal, all of Pine; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn Schilling of Pine, Alice Seal DeVries and Wayne DeVries of Camdenton, Mo., and Ida Rose Seal and Joann and John A. Taylor, all of Franklinton; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Delores Luper and Jimmy Luper; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Nellie and Jim Sandifer, Elaine Primes, Betty and Billy Amacker, Pauline and Robert Branch and Sally Gainey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents, Bernice “Burn” Seal and Maxine Moore Seal, and a brother, Colin Ray Seal preceded him in death.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 3 at Crain Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time for services in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Lynn Martin and the Rev. David Easterling officiating. Burial followed in the Pine First Baptist Church Cemetery.
