Carrie Lynn Mizell Thomas, 52, a resident of Enon died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Cen-ter.

Born Oct. 16, 1960, she loved gardening, and her favorite thing was cooking and hosting family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband, Rawland Crowe of Enon; a son, Heath (Laurie) Thomas of Franklinton; a daughter, April Thomas of Franklinton; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Ezell of Pine; four grandchildren, Gabby Ezell, Brooklyn Ezell, Denver Ezell and Sam Ezell; a sister, Shirley Mizell of Enon; two brothers, Paul Mizell of Enon and Luther (Sherry) Mizell of West Monroe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Mizell and Ruth Fussell Mizell; a sister, Barbara Allred; a brother, Eddie Mizell; and stepson, Denny Ezell.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Crain Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. David Easterling and the Rev. Chris Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Mizell Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Justin Gilmore, Gary Mizell, Brian Mizell, Tom Comeaux, Mike Thomas and Neil Allred. Charles Brum-field is an honorary pallbearer.
