A portrait carved in wood, picturing Col. Bobby Miller in his always-present baseball cap, was presented by Mike Henley to the members of the Venturer Crew 313 National Champion Open Cruising Racing Division team. Members Tyler Milner, Paul Dauterive, Roo Breland and Colby Spears won the 120-mile White River Canoe Marathon Race, which was held recently in the Ozark Mountains of Northern Arkansas. The open cruising division is considered to be the elite division, and the four-man team won for the third consecutive time. It was the 14th National Championship for Venturer Crew 313. Accepting the award, from left, are Milner, Spears and Breland. Dauterive was unable to attend as he was on a missions trip with his church.
