ERWIN

Charlotte Rebecca Seal Erwin, 60, a resident of Franklinton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at her mother’ residence in Mandeville. She was born in Bogalusa on July 27, 1953.

She is survived by two daughters, Laurie Erwin (James Heath) Thomas and Chantelle Fornea; one son, Thomas B. “Bucky” (Colbye) Erwin IV; her mother and stepfather, Ella Mae and Richard Stewart; three grandchildren, Ryleigh Patricia Erwin, Thomas Gaceson Erwin and Piper Addison Erwin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ervin Nelson Seal; two brothers, Roland Seal and Stephen Seal; her maternal grandparents, Lillie Seal Pierce and John Pierce; and her paternal grandparents, Ervin Marvin Seal and Luvenia T. Seal.

Visitation was held Thursday, Aug. 22 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral from 6-9 p.m., and will continue on Friday from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Waylon Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Seal Cemetery in Varnado.
