WILSON

James Knox Wilson, 73, passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center. A resident of Bogalusa, he was born Oct. 19, 1939, and he was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his daughters, Kera Wilson (Buddy) Kelch and Carla Jean Wilson, both of Pearl River; one sister, Janice Ann Wilson of Bogalusa; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held Monday, Aug. 19 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Larry Hunt officiating. Interment followed at Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery, with graveside military rites conducted by American Legion Magic City Post 24.
