GED prep classes available in Pine, Franklinton, Bogalusa

Washington Parish Adult Education Consortium has announced classes for the 2013-14 school year. Completing an adult education class and qualifying through testing prepares students to take the General Education Development (GED) test. Upon obtaining a passing score, students will be issued their high school equivalency diploma.

Classes are open to anyone 18 years of age and older.

Day classes available:

• Franklinton Adult Learning Center, 800 Main St. in Franklinton — Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Northside Community Center, 517 Mississippi Ave. in Bogalusa — Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until noon

Night classes available:

• Franklinton Adult Learning Center, 800 Main St. in Franklinton — Tuesday and Thursday, 5-8 p.m.

• Northside Community Center, 517 Mississippi Ave. in Bogalusa — Monday and Tuesday, 5-8 p.m.

• Pine School, 1 Raider Drive in Franklinton — Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 5-8 p.m.

All classes are open and ready to assist in GED preparation.
