GRAVES

Delton Graves passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at his home in Covington. He was born in Pine on April 22,1935, to the late Obie and Inis Temple Graves Crain.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Arlene W. Graves; six children, Donna Galloway, Carla Merrit, Lisa Wayne, Frank and Cliff Berkley and Danny Graves; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Louella Applewhite; three brothers, Lucius, Donald Ray and David Crain; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Arnold Crain; three brothers, Walter “Buster” Graves, Huey Graves and Arnold “Bo” Crain; and one son, Ronnie Graves.

A wake is scheduled to take place Monday, Aug, 5 from 6-9 p.m. at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. in Covington. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral services at noon. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington.
