PARTMAN

Franklinton resident Ronald Partman, 58, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013, in Franklinton.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Silas Partman Jr. of Franklinton; his stepmother, Luberta Partman of Franklinton; his wife, Beverly Partman of Slidell; three sons, LaChon McDonald of Abita Springs, Corey McDonald of Sarasota, Fla. and D’Wayne (Lindsey) Partman of Lacombe; two daughters, Debra Partman Ladner of Franklinton and Rhonda Chandler of Hammond; three brothers, Silas Partman III and Albert D. (Jocelyn) Douglas, both of Biloxi, Miss., and Vincent Partman of Little Rock, Ark.; two stepbrothers, Keith E. Magee of Baton Rouge and Mark Magee of Hackley; three sisters, Alma Marie Partman of Little Rock, and LaJoyce Partman and Vickie Partman (Jeff) Cotton, both of Franklinton; 10 grandchildren; a devoted friend, Toni Fortenberry; and a host of other relatives and friends.

His mother, Alma Long Partman, and a sister, Ursaline Partman, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 19 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton from 2-6 p.m., with a family hour from 6-7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness, with Elder Jarvis Lee officiating and Elder Alvin Partman as eulogist. Interment will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery.
