Norman Anthony St. Martin

ST. MARTIN

Norman Anthony St. Martin, 66, a resident of Mt. Hermon, died at 6 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013.

He was born May 5, 1947 in Metairie, and had retired as a superintendent at the Jefferson Parish Pumping Station. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing and loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, often riding as a leader in support of Vietnam veteran events and services.

He is survived by four daughters, Kim (Brian) Erwin of Mt. Hermon, Joanne (Juan) Certa of Cypress, Texas, Brenda St. Martin of Picayune, Miss., and Kelly (Ryan) Martin of Houston; 10 grandchildren, Ashley Chacon, Megan Kragle, Geoffrey Druin, Alexis St. Martin, Abby Melton, Madison Kragle, Emilee Martin, Bryan MacAbee, Shelby Druin and Ryan Martin Jr.; and a niece, Pattie Diebel, and her two daughters, Gina Corley and Peggy Mauer.

His parents, Norman Antoine St. Martin and Annie Lowe St. Martin, and a sister, Adele Cohn, preceded him in death.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, July 13 from 2-4 p.m. at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. in New Orleans.
