Ledger Dawson, 68, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at his residence in Franklinton.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Geraldine Dawson of Franklinton; three daughters, Indrea Michele Norman of Loganville, Ga., Patrice Danielle Dawson of Baton Rouge and Octavia Conerly of Silver Springs, Md.; two sons, Cedric Dawson of Rich Park, Ill. and Chrishun Dillon of Denham Springs; one brother, Gary Dawson of Macedonia, Ohio; three sisters, Dean Dyson of Youngstown, Ohio, Yvonne Harvey of Fresno, Calif. and Ealner Magee of Cleveland; five grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Freddie Dawson; two brothers, Nathan Dawson and Willie Dawson; two sisters, Bessie “Pansy” Dawson and Janie Mae Williams; two nieces; and two nephews.

Visitation will held Friday, July 5, at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton from 2-6 p.m., with a family hour from 6-7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness in Franklinton, with Elder Jarvis Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
