Debra B. Lala of Denham Springs and Gary Lala of New Orleans are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Wendy Michelle Lala, to Errol Trunch, the son of Halis and Ayla Turunc of Berlin, Germany.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Melanie Rachel of Mobile, Ala., Thelma R. Brumfield of Bogalusa, and the late Thomas “T.J.” Brumfield. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University.

The prospective groom is a graduate of the University of Maryland and LSU.

The nuptials will be celebrated on Saturday, July 13 at Albany Plantation in Albany, in an outdoor ceremony at 6:30 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

The couple will reside in Baton Rouge.
