John Todd Evans, 65, a resident of Bogalusa born June 25, 1947, died Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa.

He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Evans of Bogalusa; a daughter, Karen (Richie) Powell of Bogalusa; a son, Shayne King of Poplarville, Miss.; his mother, Marilyn Joan Ramboz Evans of California; brothers, Randy (Barb) Evans of Emerald Isle, N.C., and Scott Crumbo of California; six grandchildren, Kayla Cotton, Danacee King, Hannah King, Shaynna King, Elizabeth Powell and Karson Powell; one great-grandson, Halsten King; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Tuesday, May 28 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9:30 am until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Field Thigpen officiating. Interment followed at Ponemah Cemetery.
