Each great-grandchild placed a single long-stemmed rose in a wicker basket for her remembrance.

A special poem, “There are Angels God Puts on This Earth – MOTHERS” was read by her son-in-law, Edward Bailey, to honor her love for her two daughters.

Visitation was held Monday, May 27 at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m., and continued on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. David Easterling and Rev. Leon Hickman officiating. Burial was at the Ponemah Mausoleum.
