The Bogue Lusa Chapeaux Rouge Red Hat Society recently celebrated a year of fun “Hatpennings.”

A pajama party with breakfast foods was enjoyed by those attending. Members had lunch at The Chimes and Louie and the Red Headed Lady.

A Christmas party was held in December with many food dishes prepared by the ladies and a dirty Santa gift exchange.

A Valentine party was held at the home of Debbie Farmer with much chocolate available. In March an elegant tea was held at the home of Carolyn McGehee.

The April meeting was held at Bino’s Restaurant, with the tables decorated celebrating the 15th year of the National Red Hat Society. In addition, there was a surprise birthday party for the Queen Bobbie O’Quinn.

Red Hatters are busy making plans for the coming year and looking forward to another fun-filled year of Hatting. Each member is responsible for planning activities for the month of their choice.

Members are Damoris Davis, Linda G. Stewart, Betty Crain, Dianne Earles, Sue Evans, Farmer, Ruby Goff, Evelyn Holden, Marie King, Ruthalia Lumpkin, Sue Magee, Billie Sue McCullough, McGehee, Elouise Parker, Debbie Pierce, Alice Rushing, Betty Thomas, Debbie Warner and O’Quinn.
