ANDERS

Harry R. Anders Sr., 76, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Riverside Medical Center. A resident of Franklinton, he was a devoted single man.

He leaves to cherish his memories, four daughters, Lorretta (Thad) Gatlin, Mona L. Fowler and Mary N. Fabre, all of Franklinton, and I’yanna M. Daniels of Chicago; two sons, Harry Anders Jr. and Richard E. Anders (Ann) of Baton Rouge.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Anders; his mother, Beatrice Anders; two brothers, Johnnie B. Anders and his twin brother, Larry Anders; two sisters, Willie B. James and Charlean Magee; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 10 at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home in Franklinton from 2-6 p.m., with a family hour from 6-7 p.m.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, with Rev. Jerome Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Sweet Rest Cemetery.
