Starlene Page, employed by Bogalusa Medical Center as a respiratory therapist, is the 2012 LSUBMC Employee of the Year. In her 17 years of service she has worked in ICU, neonatal ICU and emergency medicine. Her husband, Nelson Page, is a respiratory therapist.

When asked how she felt about receiving the award, Page said, “It is a wonderful gift and a wonderful journey to take care of God’s children.”

She received a certificate, a gift card, a reserved parking space and flowers.

In addition to Page, Theresa LeBlanc, Elaine Carroll, Brenda Metizer, Amber Purvis, Amanda Hall, Page Clifton, DeBeauchee Williams, Lori Cothern, Star Page, Rodderick Marks, Lorene Randazzo and Jennifer Beltran were nominated for the award.
