Larry W. Grow of Bogalusa, a corrections colonel for the Department of Corrections at the B.B. “Sixty” Rayburn Correctional Center, was among the 12 winners of the 54th annual Charles E. Dunbar Jr., Career Service Award, presented this month by the Louisiana Civil Service League. The award, named for the founder of the League and co-author of the original Civil Service Law in Louisiana, is presented to employees in a classified merit system who have distinguished themselves by service over and above the call of duty.
