On Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 the Lord called one of his lovely angels, Ronald Weary, home.

He was born Aug. 15, 1962 to Willie Jr. and Georgia Mae Weary, and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a member of Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church until his death. He graduated from Varnado High School. He was employed by Jones Saw Mill and later employed by F. L. Craig and Son, until his health declined and he retired.

Ronald was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him. He spent his days after retirement being a devoted grandfather, spoiling his grandkids and making sure they had all kinds of sweets and junk food in their reserved spot on his side of the bed.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 31 years, Inez Weary; his children, Shenita, Ronald (Brittney) Fields, Veounca (Tasmon) Myles, Willie Weary and Salarius Magee; his special children, Latorya and Darrin Fields, Latisha Barnes; godparents, Mitchell and Myra McGee; godchildren, Larika and Asia Weary; his grandchildren, Trey Fields, Kayden Allen, Jashaun Richard, Tasmon Myles Jr., Bailey Fields; special grandchildren, Kelson Clark and Kenna Schowell; brothers, Donald, Eugene (Juwanna), Roy (Belinda), Troy (Tasha) Weary; sisters, Louisa Mingo, Annette (Larry) Mark, Letha, Hester Weary; one sister-in-law, Undrella Peters; one brother-in-law, Ronnie Foster; one special cousin, Douglas Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Tillis Jefferson and Johnnie Mae Peters; paternal grandparents, Frank and Trini Weary; one sister and one brother-in-law, Augustine and Neil Johnson; and one grandson, Jaquarius Weary.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Dec. 26 at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service was held on Thursday at noon at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Sandy Hook, Miss., with Rev. Versie Lee officiating.
