Richard H. Newman, 55, a resident of Angie, passed away at Northshore Specialty Hospital in Covington. He was born in Shreveport on June 14, 1957.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie P. Newman; one daughter, Hannah Newman; two sons, Chadrick Newman and Caleb Newman; and three sisters, Tina Derise, Debbie Green and Kim Trimble.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Newman and Florence Carter Newman.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 21, at Pine First Baptist Church from 10:30 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Bro. John Lowry, Bro. Jessie Charpentier and Bro. David Easterling officiating. Interment will follow at Miley Cemetery in Pine.
