Clyde Adam Courtney, 39, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 28, 1973 in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his wife, Sonia Forbes Courtney of Bogalusa; one daughter, Jasmine Adair Courtney of Ruston; three sons, Nicholas Adam Thomas of Missouri, Dustin Reid Thomas of Ruston and Hunter Lee Beall of Pine; three stepdaughters, Ashley Benefield of Mississippi, Cassie Benefield of Arkansas and Beth Blackwell of Bogalusa; one stepson, Buster Benefield of Mississippi; his mother and stepfather, Sybil Cotton (Rory) Beall of Pine; his father, Clyde Rollon Courtney of Bogalusa; one sister, April Courtney (Wayne) Sheridan of Pine; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 19 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and will continue on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Eld. Brent King and Rev. Malcolm Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
