Armetha Hart Wilson, 84, was called home to glory on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 in Franklinton. She was born Nov. 22, 1928.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories six sons, Willie J. Wilson Jr. and Lee Wilson, both of New Orleans, and Donell Wilson, Talmus (Betty) Wilson, Ricky Wilson and Michael Wilson, all of Franklinton; four daughters, Juanita Wilson, Wanette Tyson and Cynthia (Jessie) Walker, all of Franklinton, and Tonia James of Elkhart, Ind.; 55 grandchildren, 111 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie J. Wilson Sr.; parents, Walter and Emma Hart; one son, Colia Wilson; one daughter, Shirley Ann Wilson; four brothers, Silas Hart, Sol Hart, Thomas Hart and John D. Hart; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 14 at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., followed by a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Johnny Causey, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Martin Cemetery.
