Gary Lynn Carrier, 64, born Nov. 12, 1948, passed away Dec. 8, 2012 at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center.

He attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.

He is survived three brothers, Rodney Carrier, Olin Carrier and Louis Carrier, all of Bogalusa; four sisters, Ollie Smith of Lucedale, Miss., Shirley Pittman of Sheral, Miss. and JoAnn Mitchell and Velma Graham, both of Bogalusa; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Myrtis Carrier; two brothers, Elbert “Blinker”Carrier and Gilbert Sydney Carrier; a sister, Doris Narretto; and a sister-in-law, Darlene Carrier.

Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. and continued Monday from 8 a.m. until time for the service at 10 a.m., with Rev. Pete Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery.
