Nannie Francis McClendon, 79, born July 25, 1933 in Danville, Va. and a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at AMG Specialty Hospital of Bogalusa.

She is survived by two daughters, Samantha Diane McClendon and Anita Darlene McClendon; two sons, Mike McClendon and Richard Whitener; one sister, Grace Williams; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Shea-Leigh McClendon and Scotty Whitener.

She was preceded in death by two sons, James Edward McClendon and Eugene Leroy McClendon, and one brother, Richard Doss.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 30 at Ponemah Cemetery at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
