Jonah Holston, son of Jonathan and Karen Holston, had an early celebration of his approaching eighth birthday, which is Nov. 29, this past September with a water party.

The party, which was centered around water fun, had the guests enjoying swimming and playing on a large Slip ‘n Slide with bubbles. Each party guest was given a water squirter, and the honoree especially enjoyed squirting his friends.

The birthday cake, vanilla with chocolate butter cream filling, featured a boy in a pool with a beach ball, with Slip ‘n Slides on the sides. A number 8 adorned the side of the cake, which was also topped with a candle in the shape of a number 8. “Happy Birthday Jonah” decorated the side. Guests at the party enjoyed chips and dip, cookies, chocolate mix candies, chili dogs, punch, and soft drinks with the cake and ice cream.

Many guests, including family and friends, were present to celebrate the day. The birthday boy had much fun at his party and received many gifts. After enjoying an evening of water fun, the party guests took turns swinging at the beach ball piñata, eventually enjoying scooping up the candy inside.
