Larry “Red Eye” Foster

Larry “Red Eye” Foster was born March 9, 1957 to the late Evelyn Rogers Foster and the late Eugene Foster in Bogalusa and died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012.

He was the middle sibling of three children. His oldest brother was the late Alfred Foster and his younger brother Morgan Foster Sr.

A lifelong resident of the Varnado/Angie community, he served his country in the U.S. Army and made his family proud.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his loving companion, buddy, best friend and common law wife of 28 years, Andrea “Angie K” Laurent, and his pride and joy, Sharde’ “Black” Laurent of Bogalusa; a goddaughter, Uniqueka Levi; a son, Larry Wayne Harry; a brother/best friend, Morgan Foster Sr. (Cherise Weary); a sister, Tiesha (Derrick Myles); a godsister, Tha’Licia Smith; two special brothers-in-law, Michael and Andrew Laurent; a special sister-in-law, Eursula Foster; a honorary grandchild/nephew, Kalin McKinley; five nieces, Renica, Arian, T’anna, Mariah and Patty; five nephews, Morgan Jr., Marlon Kekouya, Tylin and Dewayne; two special nieces, Bridget and Brandy Robinson; and special friends, Edward Richardson and Jerod Jackson.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 9 in the chapel of Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. The service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Angie, with Rev. Terrence August, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Robinson Cemetery in Angie.
