Johanna Magdalena Siegmayer Hill, 76, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at her residence in Bogalusa. She was born and raised in Darmstadt, West Germany.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Robert Hill; a loving daughter, Laura Alexander; a loving granddaughter, Whitney Alexander; two loving grandsons, Raphael Alexander and Sean Hill; one loving great-grandson, De’Sean Brumfield, all of Bogalusa; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Berta and Hironimus Siegmayer; two sisters, Katarina Christian and Maria Siegmayer; three brothers, Konrad Siegmayer, Josef Siegmayer and Fritz Siegmayer, all of Germany; and a daughter, Renate Saunders of Bogalusa.

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church, celebrated by Father Patrick E. Collum. Interment will follow at Bogalusa Cemetery
