The annual Holiday Cookbook will be publishing soon, but entries have been coming in rather slowly.

There are several ways to get us your recipes. You can mail them via the U.S. mail (P.O. Box 820, Bogalusa 70429), email them (jan.gibson@wickcommunications.com) or just drop them off at our offices at 525 Avenue V in Bogalusa. Entries must be typed.

Prizes for the cookbook winners have been determined. The grand prize, Best Overall Recipe, will be awarded a $300 gift certificate.

The top entry in each of several categories, which have been rearranged this year, will win a $150 gift certificate, three in all, from merchants in the Franklinton and Bogalusa areas.

The deadline for entries is Friday, Nov. 9, so time is running out.
