Strong storms moving through parish

The eastern end of Washington Parish is currently experiencing strong wind and rain and is likely to continue to do so for much of the night.
Radar indicates a line of strong storms currently moving through the region, with more trailing behind it.
Parish officials expect the wind and rain to be in the area for much of Thursday. They are urging everyone to remain indoors and stay off of the roads.
Much of the parish remains without electricity.
A curfew is in effect in Bogalusa until 6 a.m. Thursday. Bogalusa Police units have been spotted patrolling the streets.
