Marilyn Strahan, a resident of Slidell, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012.

She is survived by one sister, Jo Ann Creel of Brandon, Miss.; one brother, Michael Kevin Strahan of Bogalusa; two grandchildren, Seth and Lana Strahan of Pearl River; uncles, Quincie (Charlene) Adams and Marvin Adams of Bogalusa; and nephews, Derek Willis, Joel Creel and Ethan Creel.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin E. Strahan.

Visitation was held Sunday, Aug. 12 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service was held Monday in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m., with Elder Glynn Erwin officiating. Interment followed at Reuben Adams Memorial Cemetery.
