Niyi Jamar Lindsey passed away at the age of 33 on Sunday, July 29, 2012 in New Orleans.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Linda Hines Lindsey; his twin, Ife Lindsey-Royal (Wardell Royal Jr.); four nephews, Wardell Royal III, Caleb Royal, Joshua Royal and Niyi Juma-Lindsey Royal; one niece, Emmani Royal; one aunt, Brenda Nyokong; cousins, Jeanette Hines, Lesley Pigott Christopher (Aaron Christophe), Takashima Pigott Robinson (William Robinson Jr.), Karomie Pigott, Aaronesia Christophe, Jumaane Christophe, Shomari Christophe, William Robinson IV (godson), She’Parc Robinson, She’Kima Robinson and Macaiah Robinson; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Lindsey Jr.; grandfather, Curtis McKenzie Hines; and grandmother, Emma Lee Hines.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 10 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton. The funeral service will be held Saturday at Israel Baptist Church, 1701 Marais St., New Orleans, LA 70116, at 11 a.m.
