Willow Dean Watkins Branch, a resident of Bogalusa born Feb. 26, 1927, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 in Baton Rouge.

She was a member of First Baptist Church. She centered her life around her husband, her children and her home.

She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Walt) Combee Jr. of Baton Rouge and Ruth Estelle Branch; one son, Pat (Garnet) Branch of Opelousas; two brothers, Fred (Yvonne) Watkins of Houston, Texas and Ernest (Fran) Branch of Falls Church, Va.; five grandchildren, Lee Patrick Branch, Nathan Allan Branch, Walter Combee III, Andrew Kilpatrick Combee and Emily Rebecca Combee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. LeRoy K. Branch; a son, John Erwin Branch; and her parents, Erwin Watkins and Estelle Smith Watkins.

Visitation was held Saturday, Aug. 4 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time for the funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment followed at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
