Alfred Hermon Nobles, 83, a resident of Pass Christian, Miss. born July 20, 1929, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 3:10 p.m. at the VA Medical Center in Biloxi, Miss.

He was a member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie McInnis Nobles of Pass Christian; a brother and sister-in-law, Denver and Vera Nobles of Pine; a sister, Ollie Cadenhead of Spring Creek; and several stepchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Caroline Arneise Miley Nobles; four brothers, T.C. Nobles, Delos Nobles, J.F. Nobles and Benton Nobles; and three sisters, Martha Lott, Audrey Jenkins and an infant sister.

A memorial service was held Thursday, Aug. 2 at Midway Missionary Baptist Church, with Eld. Billy Pierce officiating.
