Ned Victor Collett Sr., 86, born in Bogalusa on March 28, 1926, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at his residence in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his wife, Mya Jean Collett; two daughters, Midge Collett and Cathy (Mark) Williams; one son, Ned V. (Ginger) Collett Jr.; two grandchildren, Luke Williams and Ethan Collett; a close personal friend, Jack Ford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Collett and Frances Sances Collett, and two brothers, Sam Collett and Anthony Collett Jr.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 21 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral services at noon, with Father Lawrence Phelps, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
