Elaine Brooks Crain, 41, a resident of Pine born March 23, 1971, died Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:45 p.m. at West Jefferson Hospital in New Orleans.

She was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church where she was the nursery worker and loved by all.

She is survived by her husband, Jon Crain, and two sons, Eric Crain and Matthew Crain, all of Pine.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jonathan Adam Crain; her parents Hollis Ancil and Eloise Dykes Brooks; and two sisters, Lois Michelle Brooks and Theresa Ann Brooks.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 21 at Briarwood Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until time for the memorial service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Eric Williams officiating.
