Sandra Marks was born April 21, 1959, in New Orleans, to Dornis Weary Marks and the late Eddie Matthews. She grew up in New Orleans, and relocated to Beaumont, Texas. Sandra had a great love for family, music, and stuffed animals. She was witty and had a contiguous smile.

She is preceded in death by her father, Eddie Matthews; brothers, Barry and Eddie Marks; grandparents, Rossie Weary and Sophie Pigott; aunts, Geraldine Mark and Selena Holmes; and uncles, L.J., L.W. and Chance Weary.

Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her mother, Dornis Marks of Beaumont; siblings, Darrell Marks of Atlanta, Ga., Bruce Harris (Cynthia) of Hattiesburg, Miss., Ruthelia Jones (Andrew) of Bassfield, Miss., Vanessa Marks, Nicole Nabors (Afton) and Lawanda Brown of Beaumont; god-sister, Shanell Magee of Bogalusa; and a host of nieces, nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Bogalusa, with Dr. Rev. Linza Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Cemetery in Angie, under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home of Port Arthur, Texas and Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa.
